recognition, honor, and &#8230;responsibility: officially a Powerman ambassador in Greece!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My spring racing season is on, but between races I am fortunate these days to have a non-race international honor. The organization of the World Duathlon Championships &#8220;Powerman Zofingen&#8221; honored me by giving me the anointing of the official Powerman ambassador to Greece.<\/p>\n<p>Pretty much so I feel anyway, since I was the first Greek who participated in this race and finished the legendary Powerman Zofingen, Switzerland. Another great honor for me being the only non Swiss or German athlete!<\/p>\n<p>I trully thank the Swiss organizers for this international recognition and trust of a distinct position among these athletes and people. It is certainly an honor, but also a great responsibility, and I must keep up with these expectations.<\/p>\n<p>What is my role now? To motivate my compatriots to participate in Powerman Duathlon races and of course at Zofingen. Yes, I am actulaly talking to most of you, who are reading this blog. I believe that through writing my adventures on this blog, pretty much I give you an idea of the challenge of these races, especially for the Powerman Zofingen, for which top triathletes have said that as a race is much more difficult even than Ironman because of the altitude differences on cycling and running routes.<\/p>\n<p>Soon, we hope to be able to have an organized travel package and participation from the travel agency\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportsbox.gr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sportsbox.gr<\/a> with which organizes all my trips this year.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to experience the challenge of Powerman &#8230; follow me in my ways and live the racing action, not only through my texts.
